ICDP also supports faculty and staff through professional development that brings these same skills into classrooms and student-facing spaces.

Thanks to a grant from the Educating Character Initiative, the ICDP will expand in the next several years, by adding additional institutions who are committed to our mission. These new partners will form their own pods of 4-6 institutions that offer a year-long fellowship opportunity for their students. The ICDP is building a network of these institutional pods and a community of practice dedicated to developing in students the habits, dispositions, and virtues to engage in meaningful dialogue across disagreement.
